Food: chicken francese, side of spaghetti. Chicken was prepared well and the sauce was good enough, but nothing to write home about. Pasta was served with red sauce, the waiter never asked if I wanted the pasta in the same francese sauce. Atmosphere was a bit noisy, as the tables were very close together. I must admit, I was entertained when a group of typical middle aged long island women sat next to us, bickered amongst themselves about the "draft" before finally asking for a new table. Prices were standard.

Food: fettucine alfredo with chicken. Alfredo sauce had a funny after taste, and was not very creamy. Had a yellow color to it, which was unnerving. Also did not like the pieces of bacon in the sauce, if there is to be a pork product in my Italian food, it damn well better be prosciutto. Menu was ala carte, so given that fact I found the prices to be a bit high. Service was disengaged, and had a reasonably long wait for a table. Very busy atmosphere, though don't quite understand why. Comic relief was provided by typical Commack women. Overall was not impressed. |
